It's hard for me to imagine Cruz as his party's final choice. But then in 2000 I thought I was living an absurd nightmare when they declared Bush president, so I guess any stupid thing can happen.
BTW, there is a famous photo of Ernest Hemingway sitting at a desk with cats on it that I keep hoping you'd post something similar to. I was trying to age a picture of the poker player/writer David Sklansky, to make the photo look like the Hemingway one. Sklansky has about 4 or 5 cats and a bird and his photos are just adorable.

Some time ago, the News-Press printed one of my critiques about Cruz. They used it a couple of times. The new editors aren't using me except for a couple of small letters in the mailbag column. I'll have to find another outlet but the technology of starting a political blog eludes me.
