We are protesting CISPA, the bill which passed in the Repub-controlled House of Un-representatives. It will certainly be vetoed if it gets to the POTUS's desk.

Over my non-techno head, I'm afraid. It does sound like a bit of over-optimism to think either the gov'ment or the private sector will abide by restrictions.
