Men and Cats, its an interesting story and goes back many centuries. Have a seat and I shall tell you the tale ... (get it tale .. tail ... ... ) (truly awful I know haha).

You see men actually like cats. Yes I know this is surprising information. But it is true. In fact not only do they like them, they loooove them. But you say "Sarah they do not like cats, in fact so and so said he hates cats". Indeed Men will say they hate cats, but do not be fooled. Men are tricky little beings and like being complicated. I am not fooled. Its an odd relationship the men have with cats. You see, they say they hate them to only fool us.

We can go back many moons to see the proof that they do indeed like cats from the very beginning. Egyptian times, cats were gods and were even mummied along with their human. The Egyptians treasured their cats and treated them as one of their own. Men in that times of course had to love cats, if they didn't it would just be disrespectful to the gods themselves. Now of course through time, Men and cats might of had some difficult moments. There was a time in history when cats were seen as evil and part of the whole witchery thing going on. If you had a cat you would probably been accused of being a witch. And so the cats were banished for a while. This was not wise, and so the people soon learned their lesson well. For the cats kept the mice and dreadful rats at bay.

And so we come to today's society where men say " I FRIGGIN HATE that CAT"
Again I say do not be fooled. They LOVE them!
You say "Sarah why would they say they hate cats when they love them?"
I have several theories on this

Theory 1 : Simply Put they are afraid to look sensitive or able to have emotions such as caring. I mean god forbid they look sensitive and make a fuss over a cute fluffy kitty. It just wouldn't be "Manly"

Theory 2: They are jealous. So its a love-hate relationship. They are jealous how cats can do anything they want. They are also slightly irked at the thought that a cat wont listen to them. Remember we are in a patriarchal society. And Men are simply not used to having anyone or anything not listen to them! Its truly madness in their minds.

Theory 3 : Cat's aren't like dogs is the Laaaaaaame argument they will use against you. Resit and buy a cat and say he was stranded in the cold ... April ... Spring .... Air ... and that you couldn't let him freeze to death outside. Of course cats aren't like dogs because they aren't dogs... thats why we call them "cats" Umm DUR? I do believe cats are from the feline species .... A whole different tree than the dogs.

Theory 4: Cats are cute and fluffy. Again Pure jealously here.

Theory 5: Men are "allergic" to cats. This is just a cover up, all his sneezing is just pretend. Totally made up. So get a big fat cat. His hives, and red skin... is just a sign to get more cats or bring the one you have closer to him.
