Another Day Another Time

I told myself that I wouldnt post anything too depressing because well duh its the Holiday Season. Apparently I do not listen to myself that well.

So For today I thought I would reflect and post a Poem. I hope its not too depressing.

Make Your Own
Bitter For the Other Man’s Fortune
So Greedy and Hateful
That Man Across the Street
The Grass is so green oh so green
Standing there as you glare
Crying injustice
Why oh why me you cry
You hesitate not to cast those aside
For they are with the man
Across the street
And the grass is oh so green so green
Cant see past your self pitying
Cant see past across the street
Stop Crying I say
And then you Turn and Glare at me
Its not fair you scream
I walk away , but not to the other side of the street
The grass is so green oh so green
The man stands there
I Can hear your cries and screams
In the end we are all in the same
But it is so hard to see with
The grass is so green oh so green
On the other side

Like a Child now
Go back and pick up your toy
Another day arises tomorrow
And you have more tears to
Shed
More tantrums to throw about
To shift the direction to you
To get the attention you want
For you are not greedy , no , no
For you are not being treated fairly
And the world spins about your head
And Im taking the next train out of
This shit hole town
But I end up seeing more children
Crying
Screaming
Injustices
Believing that I stand
With the Man
Across the Street

I am not your hero
I am not your idol
I am not your enemy
I am not your competition
So lets end this right

Grow Child Grow Child
I Tire of Waiting
I Tire of Waiting
Wondering my maturity is only due to Context
Child I Cannot Make you Laugh
I am not your mother
I Cant make you happy

This world of grass blades
You need to stand on that street
And see it all
The man
The grass
The mailbox

You need to see it all
Because I am leaving on a train

I Cant take this anyway

Soon you will See

But Child Will you see before you Grow
Old

Before I find the land without grass?

I Tire of Waiting Child,

The Man Across the Street said
