I'm back "home" in Oklahoma! I left at 5am on Monday morning and arrived at Ft. Worth, Texas at midnight. 19 hours!! Too much time in the car. Thankfully, I had a safe and uneventful trip.
It's good to be back in Choctaw. This little town has changed so much, but so much of it is just exactly as it was.
I had my water pump replaced today, $300. Not fun, especially since I'm planning a wedding and a honeymoon right now. Oh well, that's how the cookie crumbles. I think the tag is due on the vehicle as well. *groan* I'm not down about it. We're so looking forward to the honeymoon and Christmas with family. Suddenly, I've found myself trying come up with excuses to stay in Oklahoma longer.
Tonight, my family and I are going out to eat. Hopefully, we go to Zio's. It's Italian and it's great!
Tomorrow, I fly to West Virginia and meet my lovely bride after six weeks of being apart. I can't wait. We're going to pick up the tuxes, talk to the restaurant about the rehearsal dinner and hopefully pick up the marriage license. You no longer have to have a blood test or a witness. Same day service, etc. That's really convenient.
We took a picture of the congregation last Sunday for our yearly calendar. They were very excited about it. I've also taken some recent photos of the cockatiels, being cared for by the elderly lady in the church photo.
Until next time, take care and thanks for stopping by!
