I have been brought up as a strict catholic and have attended church every Sunday all my life, I have been to confession every week since I was confirmed and I have taken part in holy communion, I now wish to renounce my faith as I no longer have faith. The pope is speaking out against gay rights in the UK and feels it is against "natural law" to be gay HOW IS IT AGAINST NATURAL LAW WE WERE BORN THIS WAY NOT MANUFACTURED birth is natural is it not. I feel betrayed and hurt and feel as though I can no longer support a man who is bent on breaking down the walls we as a gay community have built up too many people have sacrificed so much to have the rights we have today and no one man should be able to take them away. In England there is a saying that if you live in a glass house you shouldn't throw stones what has he got to say about the many dirty foul homosexual priests in the catholic church that have been abusing children for many years?????
