not only do i knit but i also bake i just finished a cake for my best friend Rachael's daughter who is being christened on 7th June it is so special for me to be able to make this cake for her daughter as 3 years ago i also made her wedding cake me and Rachael have been friends now for 20+ years so i thought i would just share a picture of the cake with you all as for life in general I'm not in the mood to talk at the moment i been having some problems and no doubt i will blog about them soon but not today so enjoy the cake
it is a traditional fruit cake soaked in brandy and iced with fondant icing and piped with royal icing.
