What a great weekend it was. Well was it??? The weather was great yes. I spend too much time inside the house in stead of going outside.
Friday after coming home from school I needed to do some food-shopping. When arriving at the check-out I noticed my "bonus"-card was missing. (Card to get refunds, don't know the English name for it). Well there were quite some articles which were lower priced when using the card so I was happy I could borrow the one the cashier uses for herself.
Once home I noticed my wife was having a terrible headache so she went to bed early. I made dinner for myself and my oldest son (the other two went out working).
I cleaned up a bit and watched some TV. Then I decided to do some PC-work and ooooh now i am addicted on trivial pursuit on PC. I also play it once and a while in my chatroom but this was a Dutch version. How addicting.
As always the night ended behind the pc in my chatroom, but cause I really was tired I went to bed earlier then usual (round 1.30 am already, which is early for me).
Saturday a bright and sunny day again. The night had been very cold so some ice was on my windscreen and it took me quite some minutes to get it off. We went to watch our middle son play soccer and he even won this time. That was really some time ago that happened. I would have liked to watch the game of my eldest son but we had an obligation to visit my mother's niece who was celebrating her 62nd birthday. Lets say it was a social visit. Weather was so nice that i felt pity for myself to sit inside.
Because on April 1 here the taxes-forms need to be filled in I decided to start with them Saturday night. However I teach economics i never liked filling in my taxes. So i quitted rather quick. Will continue next week with it. (its all electronic filling in so that makes it easy). Like every night I did have some little chatting too. Felt confused cause someone who I considered as a friend wanted to end the relationship cause I don't like a friend he has. I always trusted the guy and that's my problem I guess, I am too easy trusting. Problem is that that guy has a bf with whom I also chat. He doesn't understand it at all and wants to keep in contact. Well that's ok for me. He is a good fellow and I am glad he wants to continue chatting. I must say it kept me busy more then I thought.
Sunday was a quiet day. Beautiful weather again, so we made a good walk. In the afternoon I was again busy with taxes (this time for my wife's parents).
The weekend ended peacefully behind the TV, watching some nice series (Dutch). Also an announcement on TV that finally Grey's anatomy will start again in a few weeks.
And right now??? Sitting behind my desk at work again, just fiinished a 4 hour meeting. Also a nice thing to do but totally different then the weekend.
