Good Friday Morn, MyBloggerstown:
    Well, the spectre of "Rodeo Days" is upon us. Daily I see more and more motor homes, out of state plates, and "cowboys" with new hats, shiney boots and creased jeans. Brother Bubba sez that's how you tell the drug store cowboys from the real ranchers with the sweat stained Stetsons, skuffed, muddy boots and well worn Wranglers. The latter having better sense than to come anywhere near Rodeo Days. This annual clusterfuck is 'asposed to last for two weeks and I guess it's good for the local economy. Â
    Suffering's birthday dinner went well. She enjoyed herself although it wasn't much of a surprise as Mama had spilled her guts a coupla days earlier. I am sorta ticked off at Crazy Sis. (All: "No...really?") We were 'asposed to divy up the check three ways between her, me, and Mama. At the restaurant, Sis slips me $35 to cover her and Mama's portion. The bill was almost $80. So guess who got stuck. That's right....me. In a highly unusual move on my part, I said nothing at the time. I didn't wanna ruin Suffering's birhtday celebration by squabbling with Crazy Sis about money of all things. I do intend to adress this next time I see her, though. Ooooooo.
    As we speak (write) I am doing laundry. Another favorite chore that I love to do. We are fortunate here at Shady Pines to have a laundry room on each floor. Two washers, two dryers, no waiting. I desparatly needed to wash some things. I was running outa underpants, towels, etc. I also need to get in gear and run the sweeper in here. The Board of Health is gonna condemn this place if I don't get on the stick. Jeez, I'm starting to sound like Mama did when I was a kid. Scary.
    The babies are all doing fine. Daisy May has a follow up appointment today in re. her collarbone breakage just to make sure all is healing as it should. Jethro's speach therapy is doing wonders. He's not quite up to where most three year olds are yet but he's making definite progress. Reagan the dog is getting huge. She has a coupla bad habits that they are trying to discourage. One is dashing out the front door every time its opened and the other is jumping up on people.  Bubba and Suffering are concidering an "Invisable Fence" to keep Reagan enclosed. Once out and about she has a tendancy to terrorise the neighbors. She wouldn't bite anyone but she does bark and lunge and that can be disconcerting to some. Suffering is also concidering obedience school. Lulubelle's dog Moose was much like Reagan is now but she took him to obedience school and it really turned him around. In fact, he was the "valedictorian" of his obedience class. He even has a certificate saying so. Lulubelle is very proud of this.
      Oh, goody....the truck that delivers the weekly Free Trader just arrived. I love perusing this for yard sale announcements, social events, and cheap automobiles. Excuse me one moment, while I go down and get one and put my wash in the dryer. Please enjoy this delightful musical interlude.

   I have returned (pant pant wheeze). Lately, I am having difficulty with even the most ordinary tasks. I get out of breath walking across the room and my chest feels heavy. I know its my ticker although both Dr. Tightass and Dr. Ahmadouchbag tell me its also my weight. Hey, I'm workin' on it, awright? I dropped 8 pounds since my last visit. What do they want, blood?(well, yeah, sometimes) Rome wasn't built in a day, ya know. Niether was my fat ass, so they need to cut me some slack already.
    So, that's about all that's going on here in Cow Snot. Later today I'm going out to stock up on snacks so's I don't have to go anyplace for the next two weeks whilst all the ijit tourists are lurking about.  Have a good weekend, everyone.
