    Sorry for the prolonged absense from these hallowed pages. Was having a technical problem with my computer but I asked Eddie what to do and he steared me right, so hopefully I will have no more problems.(bugg crosses antenae). Tanks loads, Eddie. If this continues to work, I'll love you ferever.
    Well, where to begin. I got all moved in here at Shady Pines last Saturday and so far all is going smooth. I've met a few of the inmates...I mean residents and they all seem friendly. The building manager is nice to a point. She doesn't seem like she takes a whole lotta crap from people...which is good in a way. I intend to follow all the rules and not get on anyone's shit list. I'm on enough of those the way it is. They have a lot of activities here....bingo on Friday, chess, poker, and bridge on other days. I always wanted to learn how to play bridge but for some reason just couldn't grasp the concept. Now would be a good opportunity to give it another go. They also have shopping excersions to Wally World, Tarzhay, K-Mart and various grocery establishments each week so if I need to I can get out without pestering family members. There is a lounge, a small library, a workout room and a pool table. You have to furnish yer own pool balls because someone stole the ones that were there. Now I ask you, what kind of an idiot steals pool balls? For what other purpose can they possibly be used? How bizzare, how bizzare.
    My cable gets installed next Monday. I'm getting the bare minimum at the moment until I see how my budget will work out. I should get all networks and Fox plus C-SPAN, PBS, TBS, and a myriad of home shopping networks. That's really all I need for right now.Â
    My apartment is on the 3rd floor facing Chief Thunderjug Blvd and I have a good view of some city lights and the William H. Bonney International Airport and Crop Dusting Service. I've seen and heard many planes land and depart. I've always found that fascinating. The noise kept me awake the first coupla nights but I barely notice it anymore. The layout of the apartment is really nice.  The living room and bedroom are of a nice size and there is tons of cabinet space in the kitchen. The pantry is so huge that I could pro'ly rent it out to a family of migrants if I get strapped for cash....har har har. Seriously though, I need all the storage I can get. I need to rebuild my crap collection. I am going into serious clutter withdrawl.
   Well, that's about all the news for now. I do hope I can live here in peace. I am getting way too old for all this moving gar-bahge.
