Good Morning, MyBloggerstown:

     Lots of things planned today.  First I must go to the library and return some books.  Then, I have an appointment with Dr. Whalebutt.  I am not looking forward to this today (like I ever look forward to this) because, despite all my efforts, I've put on an additional 10 lbs and I just know I'm gonna get reemed.  Oh, well.  I guess I should just shut my pie hole(not bad advice, concidering) and take it like a woman.  After the doctor I have to go to the Wally World and pick up a few things; a flower wreath for Mr. Bugg's grave (Memorial Day is next week and we always take flowers to Daddy's and Mr. Bugg's graves), a birthday card for a friend in the Flower City by the Lake (no, not Mr. Bill...his birthday is in December), some trash bags, and a container of low fat spread.  And, depending upon how bummed out and depressed I am after the doctor's, mebee a container of ice cream. 

      Speaking of food, I made a pot roast yesterday and invited Mama and Crazy Sis over.  They actually came although Crazy Sis had to leave soon after to go help Jethrene mow her lawn. Jetherene should get those worthless "friends" of hers to help mow her lawn.  It is my understanding that she is getting a "D" in one of her classes this semester.  Jesus H. Christ on a crutch.  Her grades have been excellent til now. She's fallen in with a bunch of people from schoool who are single, childless, and therefore footloose and fancy free.  She misses this carefree life and has obviously been neglecting her studies.  Hopefully, this bad grade will jar some sense into her.  I would be a shame if she started screwing up now after she's worked so hard.  But ya can't tell her anything so I have stopped wasting my breath on her.  It only makes her defensive anyway.  But back to the dinner, Mama actually praised my pot roast...well, sorta.

Me: "So, how's the pot roast, Mama?"

Mama: "It's ok."

Coming from her, that's like the Nobel Peace Prize. But all went well and I intend to make some beef noodles today from the leftovers....yum yum.
