Our Purty Tree is Up!

My daDDy went a got our purty tree today. He bringed it inna house all wrapped up like in a sock or somethin.

Then we checked it out.

And he got the tub and stand reddy and I inspected eberything first.

And he putted it up in the iron stand all by hiz self (but he putted it up and tooked it down a cupple times before he liked it.) The tree won't get lights and stuff till the limbs open up, maybe tomorrow or Thursday.

I got seven strings of lights on it tonight, then quit. I have plenty of time but little patience. Oh well. Two more strings tomorrow.
