Let me wish you and yours a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving. We may think that we are not in the best of times, but we still have so much to be grateful for. Enjoy your family and friends and take peace in their company. If you couldn’t get home-call mom. I did. I have to work today, so this afternoon have a big ole sandwich and maybe the last of the green bean casserole. Oh if you can force it down, one more slice of the pumpkin pie, yes I want whipped cream on mine. Say a prayer for our troops. Be sure you say one for our men and women who have returned but are in V.A. Hospitals as they recover. And maybe one for those in our country who are homeless. If they are lucky they are being fed at a mission or other place that cares for them. One last request-Give a prayer of thanks for two men. Mr. Bush and Mr. Obama.

Of course I am--that's what living in South Florida is all about--it is sending postal cards saying "Don't you wish you were HERE?" in January when you have snow, ice and sleet while we are on the beach!!!
It's getting chilly tonight--may have to wear a long sleeve shirt if I can find one!!

The more Thanksgiving Days that I have been through, the more I realize how few that I may have left; making each and every one following, even more special. Happy Turkey Day!!!!!

Having dial up I don't do YouTube but my thoughts and wishes are with everyone on this Thanksgiving Day as I stuff myself (and enjoy every morsel!) at a Thanksgiving buffet this afternoon wearing my Florida uniform: shorts, short sleeve shirt and flip-flops!!
