If you have followed my blogs over the last 5 years or so you know that there is a lady who is my best friend. We have written stories about our love affair-how we first met -we even wrote a mystery (with some help) a few years ago.
Well my job now is to embarrass her.
Some of you might be aware that on the 14th of this month I turned 59 years young.
Well a lady I know went the extra mile for me.
She made an old man very, very happy. In fact she left me speechless.
She might think that it wasn’t all that much-but it was the nicest gift I have received in years.
She is my friend-she will never know the place she has in my heart no matter how many times I try to tell her. I owe her so much and I have no way to repay her-except to say Thank you.
What did she do---well she gave me a hand made quilt. A quilt she made. I will wear it out-it will keep me warm on cold nights. It now has a place of honor on my couch.



If I can get to it. Dammitt da Cat has claimed as his own.
