I have never had to deal with anyone who has PTSD so I probably don't need to be putting my two cents in here but after a while it seems you become an enabler if you keep doing for him and not making him accept responsibility for himself. I am not sure at what point you need to back off and let him do things for himself but I think you have made a good start. Enjoy your coffee and quiet moments; I am sure they are few and far between.

Since I am at work everyday I have never been interested in soaps. It amazes me how many famous stars got their start on the soaps. I understand about the cats and dogs....cleaning up cat and dog hair is an endless job around here.
I am still stunned by all the pictures. I hope we never forget but unfortunately as the next generation comes along it will have less and less impact. There was nothing in our newspaper last year about December 7, 1941. Sad.
That would just freak me out. I think I would take kitty to my house and cat sit.
Very good letter. If you have not already mailed it, send it registered mail so they can't say they never got it. Keep pushing and if necessary send a copy to whomever is in charge of the Board of Education where you live.

The American people have no one to blame but themselves (me included) because we keep buying Chinese made products. The problem is we, the voters, let our government make all these trade agreements and did not raise hell at the time. This country is not ours anymore.
I am so glad ya'll had a wonderful time. As much as we love our kids, it is nice to get away for an adults night only.
He makes himself feel good by blaming everything on you. My point is if he had been meeting your needs you would not have looked anywhere else for comfort. What a shallow and irresponsible jerk. I know you don't think so right now but you are better off without him. You deserve better.
