Todos Los Santos (All Saint's Day)

While in Antigua,Guatemala we always check in the cementry there on our walk.
These people are very religion in taking care of their loved one that pass on.
We came across this one and so lovely had to take a photo shoot of this.
A lot of love and work goes into this.
This month I believe is on Nov.1 All Saint's Day
A huge holiday there.
They stayed there all day.
Bring their lunches and visiting one another.
The are so family oriented and loved one another.
Just want to share this with you.

They don't have short memories like we do. They remember their ancestry and their history. That is a very beautiful shot.

The blanket of flowers is lovely. The soil seems to lush there, I bet
you got to see a lot of beautiful flowers.

No it is not the soil there. They bring in fresh flowers from the market and worked it from there.Nothing to do with the soil. All hand done by the people .Thanks for stopping by.

I've always thought this custom was very nice. It's similar to the Mexican Dia de los Muertos. They do honor their loved ones who've passed on
