I find this a riot,is he a sextist?
Very funny coming out of the senator mouth.
Hope that she trashes his ass in the election.
A very smart woman and maybe she will.
Time to get rid of him.
BOSTON -- Sen. Scott Brown seemed to be taking a shot at his Democratic opponent Elizabeth Warren’s physical appearance during a radio interview Thursday morning.
Brown was asked to respond to a comment Warren made in a debate Tuesday night when she was asked about Brown’s nude appearance in Cosmopolitan magazine when he was a student at Tufts.
Warren said that she “didn’t take her clothes off†to pay for school.
When asked about the comment on WZLX radio, Brown said “Thank God,†and then laughed.
Democratic Party officials immediately branded Brown's comment as sexist and more suitable to a "frat house, not a race for U.S. Senate."
"I will survive a few jabs from Scott Brown on my appearance," Warren said when asked by reporters to comment.
Brown said he appeared in Cosmopolitan because he needed the money to get through college.
“You know what, listen: Bottom line is, you know, I didn’t go to Harvard, you know, I went to the school of hard knocks, and I did whatever I had to do to pay for school,’’ he said.
Brown attended Tufts University and Boston College Law School. Warren, a Harvard law professor and consumer advocate, attended the University of Houston and received a law degree from Rutgers University.
"Let them throw stones. I did what I had to do," Brown added. "But not for having that opportunity I never would have been able to pay for school."
"Senator Brown saying ridiculously ignorant, rude, sexist, and false things? Weird, that never happens," wrote Julia Leja, the finance director for the Massachusetts Democratic Party, on Twitter.
Massachusetts Democratic Party Executive Director Clare Kelly labeled Brown's comments "mudslinging" and said they "are the kind of thing you would expect to hear in a frat house, not a race for U.S. Senate."
"Scott Brown's comments send a terrible message that even accomplished women who are held in the highest esteem can be laughingly dismissed based on their looks," Kelly said.
