I wish him well. Maybe he can start to reform the church and promote birth
control and curb some of the excesses.

On all of the key social issues of the day -- contraception, abortion, gay marriage -- Pope Francis agrees with Rick Santorum. His positives are that he is humble, and he loves and advocates for the poor. Presumably the heterosexual poor. I'm not all givenish about him, but that's me.
