the children also the adults as you can see in the photo.
Very unusual but fun for them and cold for others.
We are in a process in adopting a dog that Mike seemed to be happy with her.A very shy cattle dog about one year old and black.She is so sweet.
Her name is Ruby.We still have not made up our mind.
At this time we are checking out the history of this breed.
Also Ruby is mixed with Dashund not sure of the spelling there.
We will see.They have so many dogs and very hard to choose.
You always want to take all of them.LOL.
Enjoy the photo.
Will keep you update on Ruby.

dogs. I wouldn't change the name. Cattle dogs are great as are most dogs.

Re the dachshund part: I can tell you from experience that they are loyal, tough little dogs, but stubborn. Mine recently died.

Yes,I remember that.But she seemed to be more of the cattle dog type.I do not see too much of the Dachshund type.

My great-aunt lived on a ranch, and the cowboy there had a nice cattle dog that was in charge of the other livestock while the cowboy was away. Every morning, the dog would herd the 30 sheep and the llama that guarded them from coyotes out to the pasture, and back in at night. I went over to the corral to look at them and the dog ran me off, just doing his job.

Get her but change the name unless she is ruby colored!!! Being part dachshund is she long and low?

No she is not long and low will be posting a picture of her soon.Not sure why the name and yes we could changed it but Mike seemed hesitate about this.

Hard to say no to an eager young dog. And, the older they get, the harder they are to place. I hope Mike decides he wants her. Great photos again.
