Notes from the Schoolhouse

Good afternoon.
Or is it.LOL
Much is happening around here at the East Coast.
Did I ever tell you that I took a ballet lesson.
Was 50 years old when I took my first step.
Why?did I do this at my age?
Mostly was for my posture.
This helped me a lot.
Learned how to stand tall, keep the shin up etc.
Plus helped with my muscle tone.
Took ballet along with Modern Jazz.
A great teacher who taught me a lot.
Was very amazed how I fare well in doing this.
Should have taken this when much younger.
I do have a picture of this in my outfit.
We had a recital, which was fun.
Was very, very nervous but got over that.
Then as I looked out in the audience with some of my friends cheering me on and then became some sort of a ham.LOL.
After all I was the only male, along mostly with ladies and childrens.
This has improved my posture a lot.
I for won advocate this to have a straight posture.
As I looked around some of the seniors ,how many are stooped and did not want to look like that.
May have a slight, but that is about it.
When I walked around my motto is walk tall, sit tall and do not stoop over working on your laptop. This is not a very good idea.
Get those shoulders back and you will have less back pain etc.
Most of lower and back pain are caused my poor posture.
I know that most of you know this.
Going to try to find that picture of me.
In the meantime.Enjoyed the pictures below.

This is the house across the street.

Our driveway.Getting smaller.

I also took jazz lessons as an adult and was in a recital with my step daughter. She was 11 at the time. It was great fun and great exercise! I love the snow pics Fredo, that is my kind of winter!

That is great about the dance lessons. They really are a great way to work on balance and stay in shape. I took ballet, tap, and modern jazz when I was a boy.

We have also been getting our share of snow. The driveway is lined with piles taller than I am, which is interesting. I am hoping we can have a short break and let some of it melt because I am having trouble getting it over the mounds when snowblowing/shoveling.

Do you still remember some of the steps there.
I had a short fling with taps.Liked it a lot.but no Gene Kelly that I was.did you get the rain and sleet there?
