Miguel Visit and News.then Some.

We had a surprised visit from Miguel who is our host in Guatemala.
Been with him for years and so nice to see him.
Got caught up on the news and the happening that is going on in that country.
He stayed overnight and then Sunday morning took him to Maine to visit the coast and he wanted to see this place called "Where Pig Fly"
They are famous for their bread and have so many selection to choose from.
Mike and I go there just about every two weeks.
We used to get Black Bean bread and it is so yummy.
For some reason they discontinued and hope to bring it back.
The owner there leave my number and he will called me when this happened.
Then over to the beach and a walk on the boardwalk sort of.
It was a lovely day and yes I forgot my camera.Foolish.
We are not sure if we are going to Guatemala in the fall.
This is on hold and do want to make a trip to Santa Fe and been looking at some of the tours there.Miguel will be there as he has a job there or research on families on pottery maker.
Then maybe in the Spring we can go to Guatemala for Easter. Will see.
Mike and I are thrilled in seeing Jeri and Ted in OK.
This is our first time in visiting the southwest.
It should be a great visit and knowing Jeri she will do her best to entertain us.
We have been corresponded for some time and got to know the family a bit.
Then we will have some stories to tell each other.LOL.
No we will not talk about our bloggers as they are wonderful.
More on this later in the early part of June.
Got to get our garden going soon.
Need to get some plants and hope to get this done before leaving on our holiday.
Have a good evening.Smile.

Santa Fe is the epitome of wonderful and one of our most exciting destinations. The art is so gorgeous. They also have an old fashioned five
and dime store. Do not eat at Gardinos. The food is too hot even for our
seasoned palates and I eat jalepinos for a snack. Delicious food just not
for our unaccustomed tongues. Think about going when they have the baloon
festival.

Most of my interest in seeing the pottery and turquoise I liked to see this and the history of pottery making etc. This is a thought.I did not realized that it was closed or near your area.
Will talk about this when we see you.

Once you're in Oklahoma, it's not much further to Santa Fe. Have a safe trip to Oklahoma.
