January 2.2011 Whats in Store?

Well I am not sure how to start this brand New Year off.
Have to do something different and get out a rut so to speak off.
Day in and Day out all of us seemed to do the same basic things most of the time.
Why,because they feel safe.
Me on the other hand want to learn more and do things and travel more when I can.
I cannot tolerate people that stayed in their home and do nothing.For instance.
A friend of mine who is 76.
Lost his partner many years ago.
Have a lovely home and very selfish that he does not entertain any more.
At one time he was a wonderful host.
So now the house is up for sale.
No buyers yet.
Housing market is down.
I do now and then stop in to see him.
Always says,I am fine.
Okay,Mr.Bob.
You may be fine,but you are not doing anything with your life.
All you do is take care of this damn house and continued to spend money on it that most of it do not need to be done.
Watch movies all day long.
You need to get out of the house and live.
But I am happy like this.
Sure,you are going to sit in that chair and waiting for the day to die.
I know that this sounds morbid.
But that it what he is doing.
I am not ever going to be like this.
There is a wonderful world out there.
Get out and explore it.
What the hell are you saving your money for.
Take a trip,cruise,drive.
Keep going till you cannot keep going.
For me I am going to enjoy the remaing years of my life and not sit home and do nothing.Right on.
Whats in store?Mike will be 65 in the fall.
Told him that we need to see Eruope again before I die.
More trips.As long as I am feeling good I do want to do this.
First stop Italy back to my parents root.
Then New York City to see our old dear friend.
Maybe a theatre or two.
Lets do it.We can do it.We should do it.
Wow!look at me an eighty year old man wants to live.
Enjoy my last few years on earth.
Well with all of this.
Let see how far that I will go or us will go.
What's in Store?
Enjoy life.

Linguini with pesto.
Salad,wine,water.
Very light dinner.
Good night folks.
This is not a bucket list.
Going to do it.

got a mate like that --retired 14 years back at 60 has not got off the couch yet we went to school together and kept in contact all those years since .
his wife has done every thing , now she's starting to pack up and all he can say --who's going to look after me if you die
Hate to see it and he can hardly walk just shuffles ,at least Cath and i have our camper which we use a few times a year seeing our country
ALL THE BEST MATE keep it up not ready to snuff it yet are we

my money either. There is still more to do and see.
