So, pardon my avoidance of pop, but who sang this? He's probably famous, right? Trumpeter had great technique but didn't care for his non-melodic line. When all is said and done, it's got to be about the song and not how cutely you do it. If I had written the song, I'd have strangled both of them.

Chris Botti and Sting has been around for some time.We seen them a few years back.
Now Chet Baker was the original on this song and has been gone for some time.
He was and still is the favorite jazz player in that time.
I have seen Chet in school when I was attending.He was with the Swedish All Stars just coming tip.Yes,he has a wispy voice and that is one of the reason that we all loved him.
Not to mentioned his trumpet playing along with Chris who also been around for some time now.This arrangement I am sure was for the jazz fans.Sorry,that you did not care for the arrangement.My favorite was Sarah Vaughn when she sang this.
