The visit to Santa Fe,New Mexico was a delight to visit.
Here I am in from of our Bed and Breakfast place that we stayed for five days.
This is located in the square and easy to get to there and visit all of the museum.
I cannot tell you how many times that we walked to the square.
First in the morning before breakfast we jot on down there and head off to Starbuck for our cappuccino .This is a must for us before breakfast.
Then we head off to town to do more exploring.
We had and I mean picture perfect weather.
Crystal blue sky with bright sun.
The day warmed up in the seventies and cool down to forties in the evening with the cool air coming from the mountains and dessert.
They have great museums there,my favorite was the Georgia O'Keefe.image
Food was fair to good for us.
Mostly Mexican food and Italian etc.
It was a delightful stay.
The only problem was that the information center and touring office were closed for the season and we missed out a few things.
The way to get around is rent a car.
Mike did not want to do this in fear of getting lost.
Told him that most rental cars have a GPS systems and you cannot get or maybe lost.
I try to hitch a ride while at breakfast and no luck but cannot blamed them as they have friends to visit and other places so I thought to give it a shot but not.
It does not sounds all this bad and we had a great time there and loved it.
We went to a concert there and it was wonderful evening listening to Brahm etc.

We flew or fly by American Airline and never had a bit of a problem with them. They were on time and wonderful.
We have used this airline for so many years and never and I repeat any problems.Luck?maybe.
sure they have a few isolated cause there like most of the airline.
I loved being old as they treat me with kid gloves.LOL
do not have to take my shoes off and etc.
They whisk me through.I loved the attention that I got.LOL
Oh!okay what can I say.
Here are a couple more pictures here.

I stayed at a hotel in the square--not a bed and breakfast--is there still one there? I don't remember the name.
comment by greatmartin on Oct 25, 2012 3:02 PM ()
Yes,there are quite a few there.Santa Fe Inn is the only one that I can remember..If you stayed at a hotel there Saint Francis etc. When you were there the Indians were still there.
