In Antigua ,Guatemala we have many building that the paints or chips are falling apart.I was inspired by a friend of mine that he did a series on this.
I thought that it was very interesting so why not can I do it.
Mike and I always before breakfast go for our walk in town.
While walking taking many photos of houses ,buildings etc.
Most of them are pastel colors.They use sponge painting on most of the older buildings.
As I took many pictures and played around in photo shop to see what can I do.Here is just one of them to share.
Well,enough of that.
New Years Eve is one of the worst holiday for me.
Not sure if I told you why in some of my older blog.
Why is it worse?When growing up as most of my siblings getting ready to celebrate this wonderful event.
Before they head out,we would have dinner at home .
Mostly Italian food.
After that clean up the kitchen as the girls all giddy and getting ready to celebrate.Four sisters at this time.Some of them had dates and the rest well you can figured that out.
This has gone on many years as a child of eight or nine.
They all leave and I am home alone,yes home alone.
When they left my eyes welled up and felt lost.
This is one of the reason that I do not like the New Years Eve night.
Or day.Just want to get back to my normal way of living.
We will have a couple in for dinner,as that is about it.
Early dinner,conversation after they leave will watched a movie and then off to bed.Have no desire to watch Dick Clark welcome in the New Year.
