I mentioned before in one of my blog that we got a new generator installed.
Before we get this going ,we need to get the propane tank in to pipe in the generator.
so Mike had to dig a trench for them to installed the pipes etc.
They will not do this or do not want to hit any electrical system in the ground.
Are they kidding, this is a building that was built in the 1800 and there is not stucture in the ground.
Nonetheless.Mike did a great job in digging.

Mike and I did not like the sales person who came to our house and telling us what is not right.
Hey,this was installed by a professional person and what seemed to the problem?
I know, there is no money in this.Tough then get out.
We had a few to stop by and finally we got the last one.
He was any better but we had to do something.
so all they have to do put the pipe and the tank as we can get this hooked up.
They will be coming in next week.
Then the first guy called this morning and asking us if we were ready?
What,Mike said sorry you guy did not show any interest as we go someone else.

Buffy love his daddy as he had to be with him.
As you can see.
Still having problems with mybloggers and Eddie is trying to work this out with me.
still not being notify when my friends write a new article.
so bear with me and hope we get this straighten out.
Had a very nice dry day and cold but nice.
Have a great weekend.Love ya.Fredo

I join you in hoping that you don't have to use it but I feel a lot better because it is ready to go.

I've postponed getting a generator for the 33 years I've lived here. But the only time I REALLY needed it was when we had an ice storm back in 1991. I was out of power for 4 days--and lucky it wasn't longer. Stay warm. Keep Buffy inside.

So that's why you 'married' a younger guy-he does all the work!!!

You are both doing an excellent job over there I know how difficult it is digging trenches (not 'personally' - watching my husband)
Buffy is looking as if to say "I can help, if you let me"

Do you have to generate your own electricity?
comment by jondude on Dec 4, 2010 3:18 PM ()
No,everything is automatic. When the power goes off and this kicks in.
So will see what happens.

That's what we're going to have to do for our generator - trenching - but we've got rocks everywhere above and below ground. It's not going to be fun. Those self-platform generators are so nice because you don't have to pour a concrete pad for them, just do the gravel.

No we were lucky as Mike did not hit any rocks.Things went smoothly for him.Now the next step is get the propane gas set up and hooked.
Hope that we do not need to used this too often.Just an emergency for us.
After the last ice storm here it was terrible. The worst in years and hope that we do not get this again.Good luck on yours
