Awhile ago i was staying with my mom at Christmas and there was an abandoned dog that come round.You could tell she was beaten and hungry.SO i feed her and when i moved back into my house i brought her with me.Well every-time the door is opened she darts out and just starts running and running the only way to get her is to get into the truck and she'll jump in(sometimes)this is getting old.I bring in groceries she leaves,check the mail she leaves.I've got way too much going on to worry about her getting out.Anyway my hubby is afraid that she is going to get out and hurt someone.Just know a lady was walking down the street and the dog starts barking like it's world war 3 happening outside.She got out on night and had puppies.There are 3 left.They may be ok if i can get her away from them.We want a dog that likes people.I should have known better than to bring her home when clearly she had been abused.She has major issues.Now that she has puppies no one can walk in front of the house with out getting barked at and now when she gets out she starts to circle people with every hair on her back standing up.Al is afraid we';ll get sued if she bites someone.People like to walk on our street it's pretty.I think i 've got to take her to the animal shelter.I've cried til I'm blue but her behaviour is worse not better.I feel so guilty.Yet my hubby said would you rather feel guilty about a shelter or because she attacked a old lady or child?It's driving me crazy.Angie

it is hard with an abused dog. they really need special help to return to normal and accept people.
