Springtime

Excellent! The government has declared that we have got a ‘Bank Holiday’ on the day of the Royal Wedding!

We are allowed this so that the public can attend the multitude of people watching the ceremonial procession to and from Westminster Abbey, where they are to be wed. I think I’ll be watching it on the telly! You see more via the television, than if you were to be amongst the crowds – and there will, be so much to see. I am really looking forward to it!

Prince William and Kate, have also announced that there will be a ‘Concert’ held in Hyde Park for all to attend.

That means we have got a 3 day week that week, as on the Monday, it will be Easter Monday (which is, a bank holiday anyway) plus (according to my reckoning), following the wedding weekend, we have ‘May-Day’ bank holiday on that Monday too – as it is the first of May on the Sunday . . . I think, I am right anyway . . . oh for a ‘next year’ Calendar . . .lol

A lovely Springtime to look forward to . . .

I like the idea of a national holiday for the wedding. When Charles and Di got married there was a lot of TV coverage of it over here, as there was just about non-stop coverage when she died. I'm looking forward to it.

I suppose a few million people would be disappointed if they had a private civil ceremony? Like that would happen.

That is so cool!

And (if you're using $!$#)*^ Windows), click the time in the bar at the bottom of the screen and a calendar will come up. Click on the arrows on either side of the month and it will show you whichever month you're interested in.
