The deal is that you have to list ten things you like all starting with
the same letter… the catch is that the letter is chosen by someone
else.
Janet gave me the letter R! It took me all day to think of 10 R things I like!
1. racing, as in nascar. I love me my nascar racing! I got hooked on it cuz of hubby, now I basically love all things racing. My favorite racing movie is Fast and the Furious, Tokyo Drift. The cars were super cool!
2. rental house. As you all know we lost our house in august last year and moved into a rental house. First of all it's like my dream house I have always pictured in my mind. Second, it's nice when something goes wrong, like the plumbing, and we didn't have to pay for it. This house is just amazing to me and I love that people come see us all the time now.
3. road trips! I love road trips! I am usually the navigator and hubby is the driver. I love navigating because then I know where the bathroom stops are. Yeah, I have this peeing thing when we get in a car. lol Two of my favorite road trips were once we drove to Georgia when our son graduated basic training. The other was our trip to Michigan this past summer. There is just something exhilarating about driving through this wonderful country of ours! Road trips are just awesome and I hope we do more of them
4. Reading. I love to read. I read about 3 books a week. Lately I have been re-reading books I already have. Some of my fav authors are Dean Koontz, James Patterson, Iris Johanson. I like horror, mystery or mixtures with a little bit of romance in them. Have I mentioned I am a Twilight fanatic now?
5. reese's peanut butter cups! My all time favoritest candy!!! I buy huge bags of it and keep it in the fridge. I take only a couple at a time and at bedtime I have a snack of popcorn and reese's cups. There is just something about those peanut butter chocolate things that make me smile!
6. roses. I love roses, I love the smell of roses, the beauty of the blooms. I love to get roses from my hubby. I like unusual colored roses but my real favorite is peach. I had a garden of roses at my old house but we had to leave them behind. I had english roses and I could just sit there and inhale the fragrance and pretend I was somewhere else. I will be planting roses here this spring.
7. royal gorge bridge. This bridge is in Colorado. It is an amazing sight. I think its something like the highest suspension bridge in America. Even being afraid of heights, I did look straight down from the middle of the bridge. Colorado is just a beautiful place anyway, you feel a little closer to heaven there.
8. relaxing. Since sleep begins with S, I had to put relaxing. LOL I love relaxing. Some of the ways I relax are by reading, crocheting, doodling pictures or making jewelry. It took me a long time to be able to really relax and let negative energy bounce off of me. The best relaxation for me is to be reading a book outside, listening to birds sing and feel the sun on me.
9. rain. Only in summer though. A gentle summer rain, with the windows open, listening to it ping and plink. or even a good thunder storm with the lightning and thunder. I once a relaxtion CD that was just rain. It did have thunder on it too so I had to stop listening to it because my dog Sheba was terrified of thunder.
10 random insanity. It is what it is, random insanity. Being spontaneous, silly, outrageous, acting out of character. A friend had mentioned this phrase to me recently and it just stuck with me. I like to have fun, I like to pick on people, I like to make people laugh.
So it took me all day to make my list, R words were alot harder than I thought!
