The politico done the math, based on McCain's age, and thinks that statistically if elected Palin would have a 1 in 3 chance of having to take over. OUCH! She isn't qualified, at all, I mean mayor of a village (certainly not a city, barely a town). And she has alot of negative baggage that has nothing to do with her family issues. And that would be a bad place for her to be in..I feel for her as well.
Comment on The Republican Convention - Sept 3, 2008 5:29 PM ()
It is freaky, I mean there is so much more to the Georgia/Russia story than many people even know about! Our helping militarize them first, then them attacking the independent areas using U.S. mercinary contractors, Then Georgia attacking and the McCain camp (under advisement of the lobbyist for Georgia) making threatening remarks. I mean it boggles the mind when you really look at it.

Well, if you get the grant for it, you can count me in! We can call it "Not Red, Not Blue, Just TRUE) or something cheesy and rhyming like that.

Good lord, we best back off before this gets any worse. The shoe lady (condi) is suppose to be an expert on Russia (although, I have heard her speaking ability in russian is High School level at best), better step up and say something over this.

And does the fact that Sarah was a member of an organization who had the stated objective of having Alaska potentially sucede from the United States Union make her less qualified to rule the country. Seems a little unpatriotic to me, and kinda flies in the face of McCain's "America first" rhetoric...

Technorati is some kind of blog finder site. I clicked on it and many of the "blog reactions" has more to do with buddies here and whatnot. It is suppose to help increase the number of hits and our blogs internet visibility I believe...

They wanted to pick a fight, I have read, to give McCain something to run on. Looks like we picked the wrong one...

And with THESE dumbarses trying to deal with it, Bush, Darth Cheney Condi "shoe lady" Rice. Good lord. Will we make it to november...

Why does everyone really care so much about her family, her policies should be the question and the focus of debate. Let's all leave the family of Both of the candidates out of this.

Knowing that she was a member of an organization who's goal was to try and get Alaska to sucede from the United States is enough to question her patriotism and appropriateness as our potential VP. This one is going to hurt those who like her, and if McCain doesn't drop her fast, its going to pull him WAY down..

I just seen what is happening... Unfortunately it is something that happens when discussing charged issues. Politics can be distressingly personal discussions. I don't personally want to get involved here, since I consider my self a buddy of both of them, so I will simply say lets just all try and keep it civil, and not over-react.

Comment on Sarah Palin: the Final Frontier - Aug 31, 2008 1:08 PM ()
Um, actually it was Sarah Palin who started comparing herself to Hillary, trying to sway the female vote...

https://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080829/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_veepstakes_79

"But it turns out the women of America aren't finished yet and we can shatter that glass ceiling once and for all," she said."

This was a cheap ploy, an attempt by McCain to bring what he thought was disenfranchised women to his camp. I mean we know McCain thinks women are inferior and stupid, he calls his own (second) wife a C*nt and said after the recent equal pay for equal work which he was AGAINST that if women wanted to bridge the pay gap they just needed "more education". Of course, no woman who supported Hillary on any other basis other than wanting someone with a pair of breasts as VP would support Sarah. I mean, a creationism teaching, rabid anti-choice to the point of saying that even incest or rape is not an acceptable reason to even have THE OPTION of ending the pregnancy, a few "ethics investigations",and a runner up in a beauty pagent. And yes, she was a Mayor, of a town of what 5000 people? I feel like it is Christmas in August! LOL.

The fact that she is also so inexperienced and that conservatives are ignoring that fact negates every word they said against Obama's resume and shines once again the GOP's hypocrisy. Would you HONESTLY be confortable with this woman perhaps having to deal with, say Putin, for example while McCain is having his bone density scan?

And regarding what you said...

"Govenor Palin- would NOT be president if elected, (unless, something happened to McCain.)"

----McCain is 72, and has himself stated his age is an issue, by the end of his term he will be 76-77. U.S. Life expectancy is 77.4 years according to the CDC, cutting it a little close aren't we? Then, factor in two run-ins with cancer, and 1,173 pages of health records, and Sara really starts to look like a bad pick. At least Obama chose someone with both extensive experience in both foreign relations and the Judiciary committees. And his pick isn't statistically at high risk to expire or start having "cognitive issues" so at least he will be around to compliment his abilities.

Obama was elected to the Senate in 2004, but for some reason, when people discuss his "experience", they strangely omit that he was in the Illinois State Senate as well from 1997-2004. Then of course that whole teaching constitutional law thing and editor of the "Harvard Law Review", I know the past 8 years the Republicans in power have all but urinated on that pesky constitution and those pesky laws that get in their way, but the fact that he knows the constitution that well is obviously a plus.
Comment on She is Not Hillary Clinton - Aug 31, 2008 9:36 AM ()
There are several I would rather, but the rights two big complaints about Obama are filled in by biden as a member of the Foreign Relations committee and the Judiciary committee. So at least he does do that. And did you catch his speech at the DNC, he really let McSame have it...

It's not about the richness, it is about "understanding" and "hypocrisy". To claim your rival is an "elitist" when you don't know how many homes you have, when your chief economic adviser scripted the legislation that brought us Enron, and helped banks end a law from the days of the great depression, allowing preditory lending practices and the current housing crisis, that he obviously is untouched by, then there is obviously issues.

McCain once said that Lobbyists were "birds of Prey", well if that is true his campaign is an aviary. And the prize member, old Abramoff buddy Ralph Reed. McCain has no problems with lobbyists, he too is just another fat cat trying to rob our treasury and the tax payers for years to come. And don't try to go to "McCain helped put Abramoff away" crap, because as I am sure you remember, he only went after the lobbyists around him, and forbid any investigation of actual members of congress....

The right's primary criticisms of Obama was lack of Foreign relations and experience (they say, anyway...), well Biden does fill those holes, having been on the Foreign relations committee and the Judiciary committees. I remember a certain Bush picking a certain Cheney to fill holes in a similar manner once....don't you...
