This is a subject that really gets under the skin of PD. She is a former English teacher and gets really pissed when she sees an apostrophe before the letter s when it doesn't need to be there. Example: my co-worker, Big Red, put up a sign on the store we work in that says "Closed Wednesday's". PD went medieval. We also saw a sign on a resort that said "Condo's For Sale". First of all what are Wednesday and Condo possessing or owning or Wednesday and Condo are doing what? If you want to make Wednesday and Condo plural just add a frigging letter S. I've been guilty a few time on my posts with writing it's when I mean its. It messes me up because it's means it is and its is the possessive. I know I lack the education that PD possesses but I should know better being married to her. For everyone else, think before you make those expensive signs and come up with something like "Family's Welcome" (tell me what's wrong with that last one. It was on an actual sign we read.)
'nuff said.
