Yes I actually did a good deed. About three weeks ago when we had the extreme cold snap on the O.C.(Oregon Coast for those unfamiliar with who I am)a pipe burst under the house next door to mine. This house is a vacation home and for the most part there are assholes that come for a weekend and party. Partying only bothers me when it affects my sleep or ruins my T.V. time. All that aside, I did my neighborly thing and called the Lincoln City public works to have the water shut off so that the water didn't flood the foundation and cause damage. Well yesterday that kindness paid off with a sixer of my favorite beer. Yes the owners of the house thanked me with a six pack of Rogue Dead Guy Ale. If a grocery store near you sells the stuff buy it. It's a little spendy but well worth the investment. Back to the good deed. I never did the deed for the beer or any kind of payment. I wanted to be a good neighbor and help out. The Rogue was a bonus.
