Yes it's been awhile since I've posted here on MyBloggers. I bet all my loyal followers have been wondering what I've been up to. Well as some of you may have known, PD and I recently moved into our new home a week ago. The process of buying this place took almost 5 months. The VA is very strict and they want everything except a first born child(which we would have been screwed if they wanted that since PD and I don't have children.) We jumped thru those hoops and finally got into this wonderful home. 1,664 square feet. Four blocks from the beach. A killer ocean view. What more could you ask for? I'll answer that...time. Time to unpack. Time to paint. Time to assemble a new entertainment center, coffee table, end table, patio bench(still have to assemble that), and patio table(same here.) I'm trying here. PD has been a wonderful help. She's at work right now and I'm trying to paint the (family room/great room/entertainment room...pick one name for it and you'll be right.) I still need to paint both spare bed rooms and both bathrooms. After that I have reassemble the beds for the spare rooms and get the furniture set up in the family room/great room/entertainment room. We also have to put up all our family photos, artwork, etc. Getting settled into a new home can be a pain in the ass. I'm not regretting this decision. Hopefully this will all be done in a month because my parents are coming to visit with the two ankle biters they are raising(my nephews monster and stink) as well as my teenage niece and nephew. They are coming down in time for my birthday on June 28th. Mom won big in Nevada and they are planning on taking us out for a nice dinner. Anyway, wish us luck on getting this shit done in time.
