Bullies

We've all had to endure them. The jerks on the playground that either gang up on you or go one on one to make you feel lower than you already feel. They find something that hurts you and just attack it. In most cases the parent of the bully wonders why they are being singled out. Take responsibility for your brat. The kids they pick on don't want to be attacked. In fact, your so-called angel has now resorted to attacking others online. They send mean emails and texts. They post bad things on their my space page. I think that this needs to stop. Bullies have tormented for ages and this practice can have long term effects. The Columbine massacre was the end result of two boys that were bullies. I don't defend their actions one bit. They did the wrong thing and innocent people were killed. I'm just saying that bullying can cause that kind of psychological damage. Other school shootings were the result of a bullied kid taking his or her revenge. Another extreme is a victim just taking his or her own life. Bullies need to be punished and the victims need to know that someone cares for them. We need to get rid of the popularity contest that separate all the different cliques in schools. For starters, schools need to adopt a uniform code so that everyone is dressed alike and kids don't have a reason to pick on each other for the clothes they wear. Well, what happened to my comment? As I was saying, I totally agree with the uniforms. I know a lot of parents who would also. It would save a lot of arguments about clothes that were too tight, too revealing, too dramatic!
