Yesterday I turned 38. I realized that in two years I will be officially over-the-hill. I can live with that. I wish that day could have been happier. I said in a previous post that my parents were coming with my sixteen-year-old niece, and three nephews(one is fourteen, one is three, and the other will be two the end of July.) It wasn't that great of a visit. My parents fought alot over the little guys(I mentioned before that they are raising the little guys.) The little guys were basically acting brattier than most kids their age. Monster the three-year-old and I think he has some issues. One minute he's a happy go lucky kid and out of the blue he goes into this rage. We went out to dinner a couple of times and he and his baby brother were screaming and throwing major tantrums. I was embarrassed because we were "those people" with the bratty kids that make dining out not pleasurable. I'm kind of glad my boss didn't give me Saturday and Sunday off because for 8 hours each day I could leave. PD had to put up with it. She's a trouper despite the fact that she has the in-laws that are from hell. We decided yesterday(my B-day BTW)that we would go to the Lincoln City Summer Kite Festival. My mom wanted to walk with Zanderman(the fourteen-year-old)there while the rest of us rode with my dad. It is 40 blocks from my house to where the kite festival was. My mom was in a pissy mood afterwards and when she got there, they said that they would end early because the winds here were too strong for the kites. I had to hear my dad bitch and complain about that being a waste of time. Happy Birthday to me.
