It really wasn't the sunniest of days, the temp was cool, but tolerable, and there weren't that many people there at the time we were there, so we could pretty much stop anywhere along the route to take pictures. This is the "inside" entrance to the park. (The reason for an "inside" entrance is because the "outside", or main, entrance is a roadway that also leads to the town beach and recreation area, the East Bay Bike Path, a side entrance to one of the town's main cemeteries, and to a small road that accesses a small residential area.)

I promise I am not going to bore you with a ton of flowery pictures, so don't decide to skip the rest of the post and move on to some other post. I am really only sharing a few samples of the different types of flowery scenes we saw that day and the different colors those scenes offered.

The sun did come out by the time we were in the heart of the park. It's still early spring so there are plenty of daffodils. A number of trees and bushes have blossomed, too.

The various colors seemed to "pop out" more in the sunlight, so we took advantage of it and took a number of pictures that day. Again, I repeat, I am not posting them all here. I'm only posting a few examples for you to enjoy.

And, look how much green is around, too! Ahhhhh, it makes everything look so nice and lush. I think we took over 20 pictures in this one little spot.

We did have to move on and head out at some point. This is how a good-sized section of the stone-walled lined roadway out looked. It just added a nice splash of color to what had been routinely just a bare gray stonewall all winter long. From here, we headed out of the park, back onto the main street of town, and drove home.
