How maddening! I've seen the sweetest pets lunge and bite if entrapped... does that make the pet vicious and deserving of a punishment? A child can almost be made to do anything with the right amount of pressure or coercing, even pose or perform indecently ... does this mean the child is potentially going to grow up with the likelihood of sexual willingness in adult years? "Catching somebody doing something is a lot different that leading someone into doing something!" Is entrapment ever necessary? Sure, for SERIOUS crimes, not for "I've got me another one" to add to the notches on a belt.

Yep, Martin, this is a great post. The so-called "lifesytle" does not exist as a synonym to the word "gay". A lifestyle is simply that...a style of living...and each and every "style" is lived by all people, regardless of anything and everything anybody has to say. If a GAY lifestyle truly did exist, then there are a hell of a lot of straight people living a gay lifestyle! Have you ever seen spring-breakers? Have you ever seen a bunch of drunken sports revelers or ever heard of straight people who participate in orgies, gentlemen's clubs, or not being monogamous? Then, I guess, if any gay people are not living that way, then being gay wouldn't automatically put them in a gay lifestyle, would it? I know what is being referenced and why, but those that insist on referring to the lives of gays as being a "gay lifestyle", as if uniquely different, are just plain wrong!

I think it's going to flip-flop. The rush was on for Sex In the City. Once seen, the viewing audience will hit Raiders next. I think a lot of people had/have both on their must-see list...there's glitz and glamour with Sex during all the premiere hoopla period that got picked first... then the "regular" going to the movies trip will be next to see Raiders. Just as important, just less of an event.

This was great. Oh, I want to mention that ... I hope you caught David Letterman last night...oh, it was wonderful!...Kelli O'Hara (and female cast) performed "Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair" scene and it was absolutely, fantastically excellent! (Yes, she entered the shower and emerged all wet!)

I don't know if the computer will crash, but I would probably crash! I'm forever trying to keep up with your posts...if you ever stopped and I got really caught up, I'd probably crash and crumble from the lack of the challenge! Plus, heck, I'd be missing out on a variety of good stuff I'm so used to every day and wondering what's going on with you that you're not sharing. So, don't worry about your ego because my ego would feel neglected and I'd be suspicious of why.

I'm not a big shopper, either...except every once in awhile when I get hit with an unexpected, unrealized enjoyment and will find myself really, really browsing and shopping like crazy. Good luck finding that sofa bed!

I don't necessarily have a reason to comment on this except to say that there is no reason why it shouldn't be talked about...when and if needed, of course.

I am DEFINITELY going to see this one! I never watched the show because I couldn't see anything on HBO, but I have been watching the re-runs of it faithfully and am now "hooked". (Does this make me a late "hooker"?)

I loved Harvey and I know a lot of people are saddened by this, including me. He is really going to be missed because he did nothing but make people laugh and smile...and all with a twinkle in his eye.

Oh, Martin, I just want to add that I still read your posts over at the other place...the only reason I don't comment on them over there is because you've said not to...which might be why some others don't, either.

Anyway, I can read your posts here as easily as I can read them over there...I just might fall behind on them a little. I read your blogs as they are posted even though it may appear that I don't because of my tardy comments here. (I just hold my comments until I get a chance to come here and then I just add them all at the same time.) I have been able to come to mybloggers more often than before, though, so I should be able to catch your posts here if you stop them at the other place.

You may have noticed that I have been adding some posts here, too... usually the ones without too many pics/graphics, so you can see that I am trying my best to be a part of the mybloggers family. I do still have to post at the other site, so I need to stay part of that family, too. But, it's ok because I like the friends I have in both places.

I'm with you on the cutting out the sweets. Although I have been eating rather healthy food and certainly not over eating, I have been indulging in some pretty tasty sweet things lately. You know, there were a lot of birthdays, and a couple of graduations, Mother's Day, an anniversary get-together...all too close together and all offering yummies. Well, I have another graduation, another baby shower, and Father's Day to enjoy indulgences, so I'm laying off the sweets on all other days except for those.

Very nice pictures, Martin. And, as usual, all of your birds always look so clean, healthy, and happy.

I found that I did have a lot of good memories but, when reflecting back on them, they would lead me into bad memories. In other words, the good ones almost always related to bad ones in some ways. I would think back at the fun of family gatherings, but then would remember a couple of specific incidences at a couple of specific gatherings...and, of course, the mind would then dwell on those and the downward spiraling would begin again. Therapy did allow me to "release" the bad memories out in the open so that they weren't such a deep, "living with it alone" memories any more. Once released, they were confronted and discussed. Those bad memories don't mar the good memories anymore. I still have the bad memories, but they have been made separate enough so as not to "drag down" all the good people and times shared that had nothing to do with the specific bad things.
