You have always loved to write, which is very obvious. You should be proud of your accomplishments and talent, as we are proud of you and having you as a friend.
So, tell me, did it all work out? Did you have a good time? We all need a little break and a little fun at times, and that means you and your sis, too! (By the way, I love the graphic with the pugs all pooped-out on the sofa...that is so cute and funny at the same time.)
lied about their age.
Yep, sounds like a lot of joy, joy, joy! All of that let's you know just how much you matter and how much you're needed and how much you're missed when you're away. Yeah, bull! When you get a chance, kick up your feet, close your eyes, and imagine you're still on vacation as you sip your cool drink or drift off into la-la-land. Ok, wake up! Work's a'waitin'!
I love the sound of every part of your trip. The unclaimed luggage "adventure" would have my eyes popping out! And, that BBQ stop, now wasn't that a special treat? That's a real touch of America, isn't it? Great vacation, elfie!
I see you are really busy right now...that's why you're reading the comments and replies on your posts. (I know you're there right now!) Anyway, I thought you would get a kick out of the videos. (I don't think you'll be very familiar with Lincoln Park that used to be just past Fall River on Route 6...but, being from Warren, the ride to Lincoln Park was shorter than to Rocky Point, so I went there a heck of a lot, too. I found a video for that park, too, but sadly I did not find one for Crescent Park, which was my personal favorite.
There's a video on YouTube...just type in Rocky Point and you get a video clip from the movie. And, ohhhhhh I love this part, there are a couple of videos of the old Rocky Point commercials! You might like to see the commercials just for nostalgia sake...and, I think there might be a few videos of specific rides, like the corkscrew.
Oboy, I got the answer to the second one! Should I tell you or just wait until you give the answers? I will tell you three letters...lol...ARP. Is that correct so far?
Okey dokey...those are darn good answers! No shrooms on my pizza, please. But, I do agree with that last one!
This is getting so exciting! I know a candidate!
What a shame you had to go out and get those books, but at least the library (and the teens) have the books needed now.
Hmmmmmmm....I'm off to do some research!
I was right! About the crickets, I mean! And, I did look it up just to be sure and I was right about them being on the front legs, too.
I never did know or look up the dragonfly one, though, so I have learned something new today!
Hey, you don't have to explain, I understand how times can sometimes be busier and/or a little more out of routine. I, myself, have been out more often and have been doing a mixture of different things that have changed my usual routine. All I can really manage for blogging time is late at night, which sometimes will last until 2:00 in the morning or later. We know you're around, but busy...you'll be blogging as usual as soon as time and scheduling allow.
I would watch it...I wouldn't rush out to get it, but I would get it...but I would probably watch it alone. Not too sure if Edie would want to join in the viewing.
