I am not going to offer an opinion here. I think people make their own decisions based on any one or more of a wide range of reasons when it comes to cutting or growing hair, coloring or not coloring hair, enhancing growth or shaving hair off. I know what I like on women, but then other hair things will catch my eye, too, so you can safely assume that I have opinions on what looks good on guys, too. But, hey, what looks good on one may not look good on another, so it's what works for you (and what you think will look good to others can be a second or after thought).

I think it's so great when kids (any age) really WANT to read and enjoy it, so I think the summer reading program is a good thing, and it sounds like your reading program is doing wonderful!

This would be something different from what I normally would read, but I'm not really, really sure about it. I don't have a problem with it at all and might add it to the list, but I can almost tell when it comes time to select books from the list, I'll opt for others. I'll have to think about it.

My grandmother used to use a rug yarn...maybe it wasn't specifically that but it sure did have a tightness to it, and the afghans she made (yeah, they were heavy in weight) were like the most durable things I've ever known. She knit rather tightly and those things held their shape like you wouldn't believe. Would something like this or maybe a synthetic yarn with nylon in it or something work? Remember, I can't knit worth a pearl (yeah, purl, I'm just "punning"), but I can see these bags being useful in a ton of ways. Fold them small, tote along, pull them out and fill when needed.

I hope she does go willingly...it's an adjustment, but they usually do make the adjustment ok once they're in there. It'll be so much better for her and less worry on your part. The couple that I houseclean for are starting to look into such a facility. He has dialysis twice a week, which makes him useless a couple of days a week, and she is falling quite a bit now...she has medical conditions that makes her have to sit and recline a lot so her balance and strength have suffered. Assisted living places are the best things for people like this and your MIL, so I hope she will realize that.

I love that picture...everybody looks happy! That's how a family should look and feel all the time.

Oh, she should not be alone like that! That's awful!

Wow, nice looking big cat. I hope it all gets figured out and Peaches gets better. It'll certainly make things a lot better for you, too.

This episode of The Adventures of Not-So-Peachy Peaches has now come to a close. After a much needed "first-aid break" by the director, producer, and choreographer...and a rest...it will be determined if a sequel will be necessary. Please stay tuned for updates.

I guess it's kind of hard to get too mad when it's a program that actually provides a service that saves people from having to do themselves, and then pays the people besides! That's a pretty decent program you have. Is that something you've had for awhile? (There used to be something similar when I lived in more city-like places...they would pick up at no charge, but in the suburbs you have to cart your own stuff to designated places and there's a charge for dropping off things.)

I try to ignore other's conversations, but there are always a few that I find myself wanting to hear...will make everything around as quiet as I can, creep as close to the conversation I can get without being seen, and will even hold my breath to hear better if I can. Sounds like the one you heard was worth it if you got some laughs out of it!

Your goods are looking good! A question for you...do the bags really hold up? Oh, I know the bags will, that's not what I mean...sorry. I mean, when the weight of the groceries are in the bag, does the bag stretch more than it holds it's shape...darn, I can't get the question out right! The handle, as the weight of the bag pulls on it. Maybe you know what I'm trying to ask. I'm just trying to compare your bags to the commercially made nylon-ish ones and am wondering about the "maintaining shape, sagging something-or-other" comparisons. I just can't find the right words.
