Lethargic...I certainly do know the meaning of the word!
All great news...he's getting better!
Yeah! I'm commenting late, so I know he's improving because I've heard from him! Atta boy, Martin!
You might not believe this, but I might be interested in this...a little bit, anyway.
Does it surprise you that I'm about to say that I will pass on this?
Although I did watch some TV episodes and actually do have a favorite Star Trek movie, I am not enough of a fan to be interested in this. From your review, though, I can tell that this might be particular interest to a real fan like you.
WELCOME BACK!!!
I'm just enjoying everything you wrote and I'm looking forward to future posts about your trip. I hope your wife is feeling much better, that must have really been an "ouch". I hope it didn't dampen your experiences and fun, although it doesn't sound to me like it did.
Again, WELCOME BACK!
Of course, I already know how the interview went, and that makes me extremely happy. I'm sure it makes you even happier than that!
I feel for your son and that bad ankle. It can really hurt and it can't be any easier seeing as how he has to be on his feet so much, so I hope it starts feeling better soon.
That's one little task you can now say is done. I'm sure it was cute to have the puppy there, but it can be a taxing responsibility.
Oh, and I'd love to see your new haircut.
This is great! Congratulations!!! I can only hope and pray that all goes well and that you love, love, love your job! Good luck with the studying because I know it's the cashier's job you really want. And, again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Wow, lots of appointments there. They certainly can keep you busy, can't they? I know I'm well behind with reading and commenting, so I'm eager to catch up a bit and find out how everything turned out.
I'm not triggered half as much as before, but there are still some triggered memories here and there. Your suggestions for re-focusing on the here and now will work with the easier "rides", but I've been fortunate enough to have a friend to call whenever the "ride" is a little tougher. She's always been there for me and has willingly been patient, understanding, and helpful. Good post.
And, it IS worth it!
Frustration is what I seem to be hearing a lot here, and I am so sorry to hear that you are going through so much of it. I think a lot of doctors (and caregivers) just assume too much sometimes...assuming patients know a lot of what they consider routine or common, assume patients will just accept what they're told and do what they're told without asking questions or resisting, and assume that when there is a problem or a question that somebody will take care of it. You just take care, though, and get that rest that you need so much. You will get stronger and better if you allow your body to heal, recover from the "invasion", and build itself back up. Don't push yourself too hard, just pace yourself and work at it realistically because we want you to get better.
Hey, you look like someone in one of those grainy, jumpy, silent movie scenes! I could swear I recognize that scene from some movie, but the name escapes me now. Well, anyway, I will be honest with you...you certainly have had better looking days than the one shown here. But, that's why you are called a patient...you have to be patient for you to be completely back to your old self. Now, keep that camera put away somewhere and stop breaking the rules!
