I can see an attitude in that face...what a handsome cat, though!
That is so funny, leave it to kids to come out with things that you can't help but laugh at, even if in a bit of a shock.
I was going to guess watch, even though it's way too late to play.
Another excellent post! It took me a long time to learn and to accept that it's ok to hurt...boy, were things a lot harder before I realized that.
Here I am trying to unclutter my place and I read about all the stuff you got at the auction! Oh, I love to collect things like that so your post was practically making my mouth drool! Sounds like you not only got some good treasures but that you had a good time, too.
You know that I only wish for all of you to be well, so I'm glad your son's symptoms subsided but knows to be alert. I'm concerned for your daughter, though, for migraines are awful things...migraines are often the blame for the nauseousness that follows...so I hope the MRI helps to narrow down the causes, which are so often stress or allergy related. As for you...well, good for you to be so adamant about taking care of yourself and doing the right things. Be careful of some of the sugar-free (sugar substitute) things because they can cause side effects in some people, especially when certain other conditions exist. Muscular pain and fatigue are two of them, especially for people with conditions like MS, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, etc. Foods and beverages with artificial sweeteners also work as laxatives, which may not be true for everyone or only true when consumed in excess, but for some people it can be a major problem. I, personally, can not eat or drink anything dairy with a sugar substitute in it or I writhe in pain and suffer in the bathroom, but other foods and drinks with substitutes pose no problems to me. Take care of yourself, Kelli, you're worth it!
How very exciting for you! Congrats! Oh, I would love to teach and jr college sounds so perfect to me...high school, well, I'd find that to be a different challenge. I believe you can do it and I really think you believe it, too, because you have already found new confidence in yourself. With each and every stride you've already taken, you've gained more confidence in yourself and how you can get through life, the bumps along with it, too. Look in the mirror and smile and look at that smile! Know in your heart that you really are good and capable, and you really want to be as good as you can be and be successful at whatever you do. Each thing in life is an adventure, each day is new, approach everything like that and the rewards will be your biggest confidence builder.
What a nice story, Martin. I really enjoyed reading it.
It's THE show of shows and for every good reason!
Great news from the doctor! That's the kind of news I like to hear!
Sounds like just the right amount of interest, action, and humor for a good read. I might add the author as someone to consider trying out in the future, but no promises here.
Aw, shucks! I'm putting my bathing suit, towels, and inner tube away. I was really looking forward to a pool party. But, hey! I am happy for you now that you have the new "monster". Hope you get that carpet dried out quick, you don't want any problems because of that to deal with. Enough is enough, already.
Well, you managed to get all ready, so I'm hoping all went nice and smooth.
"Always remember you're unique. Just like everyone else." I like this one and I have to try to remember it more often.
These are all so good. I laughed at some and nodded at all of them.
