That is a pretty good looking tv. Is it working better now? I know there's something different about local channels compared to cable channels, but if they're all on cable I would think they would be the same. Oh, I know there's a technical explanation, but I probably won't understand it.
You know, I've been keeping up with your updates and things but they were sometimes outdated updates by the time I got into mybloggers to comment on them. So, I would just keep reading them and keeping up with the latest the best I could (by reading most of them in Blogster). I'm commenting on this now-outdated one because I missed it the first time around...that's why I didn't know anything about the TV until now. You really did get a big HDTV? How is it? Do you like it? (We're going to need another TV soon and, unless we just buy some "ordinary" tv, we won't be able to afford anything else...buy I do keep an eye on better tv's just in case one should surprise me and be affordable.)
I've seen that before, but not done in needlepoint. Gee, that would be a really neat way of having it and so perfect on the door!
I get it, but I don't get it. That's how my brain works sometimes. So, if there's a listing on google, does that count, too?
Nice painting, AJ. I couldn't help notice the comments...I know the Providence Library had art that could be borrowed...don't know the exact procedure or terms, though.
Not a bad sign at all. I know what you're saying, but there really isn't anything wrong with "simply stated". (It means you can use it again.)
This is so old now, but it's still perked up my interest. I'm going to go see what I can find.
Another one I missed? I'm going to look for the post with the answer!
Sorry if I'm making you come all the way back to an older post of yours, but I just now read it through and, although I had seen it before, it is one of my favorite things to read. So, seeing you came "all the way back" here, I might as well tell you that I really enjoyed the post.
Wow, I'm finally getting to some of the older posts...not that I'm all caught up on the more recent ones. But, I don't like to miss posts, as you know, and I like to catch all the reviews you've done. Now I'm glad I didn't decide to skip any because this one sounds really good and I think I want to read it.
Banks are doing this to all industries, businesses, and private citizens. Many will say that the arts (of any kind) are not as important as other things...but then there's the argument that a lot of jobs will be lost, a lot of revenue from tourists, visitors, audiences, etc. will be lost, and that the arts (and some other industries and classifications) are needed in times like these as outlets and for morale. So, yes, I feel everybody should feel the crunch if there's going to be a crunch, but I also feel that all should have equal consideration when it comes to giving out help. The theater has as much right and serves as important a role and involves as lucrative a business with a large employment and clientele to be seriously watched and considered during these trying times.
It appears that it will be good. He's an attractive enough guy but, for me, there's no spark of any kind.
Gee, Martin, I remember reading this already and think I remember commenting on it. Did I do it elsewhere or is my mind playing tricks on me? (Both are possible, by the way.)
Sad news, but a lifetime of contributions to be remembered.
It's good to see you have your appetite back! Gee, that looked good... good enough to eat! I'm glad you're eating better and continue to get out and enjoy yourself. Good stuff, Martin!
Whoever you are implying this reminds you of is nobody I know. I don't know anybody who's into all kinds of "toys and gadgets". Everybody I know, including the one that's thinking of adding yet another activity to his life....singing!....doesn't have time for such things, right? Hmmmmmmm, yeah, but now that I think of it, that would be the person....because, time or no time, HE HAS TONS OF TOYS AND WANTS MORE!
