Every month at the library, we have a local artist hang some artwork on the walls. It makes for nice variety, and it is a good way to give them some coverage. There have been a few times that I have wanted to buy a painting, but I am usually to poor to consider actually doing so.
I did buy this painting this weekend. It is a perfect fit for our bedroom, which has a leaf motif. It was only %60. I was thrilled. It is now haning on the wall!
It's a lovely painting! And, even better when it fits in with your motif! Our city library has a lot of paintings that you can rent (or maybe just check out). Maybe they let people buy them; I've never inquired.
