I do know a few (straight) people who live in that area of TN and their gay and lesbian neighbors and co-workers are just part of their whole gang of friends.

Sounds like your daughter got herself into a little trouble there. Thankfully, it really wasn't a big deal and nobody got hurt, but a simple phone call could have avoided a punishment for her and all that she put you through. I think she'll understand that...the grounding will help do that even more. And, hey, I'm glad for your son and his job.
I applaud you and your walking! With determination you will find that a day just doesn't seem right without a walk in it. That's how it was for me, until I let myself fall out of the good habit of regular walking. Once I get going again, though, it'll become a major part of my routine. Keep up the good work! Plus, you might get to see a "familiar face" again!
