Inside My Fortune Cookie

Edie and I enjoyed some Chinese take-out. It was all so yummy as I chowed down using my chopsticks. Edie doesn't have patience for that; she used a fork. LOL When we took our last bites of the fried rice, which was excellent, by the way, we both agreed we were too full for the eggrolls. They have been saved for tomorrow's lunch. But, no matter how full, there was room for the fortune cookies. This is what was on the paper tucked inside my cookie...

"In the province of the mind, what one believes to be true either is true or becomes true."

Now, isn't that profound? I thought about that for awhile and I believe that it's true, so, according to the fortune, it either is true or it will become true.

There is something extra fun about taking Chinese food home to eat - you can tell I don't do much take out. I like the English expression "take away."

Yep, if given the choice between a fork and chopsticks...I'll choose the fork! I don't have the patience for chopsticks. Glad you had such a nice time.

I'm with Edie; give me a fork any day!

I love chinese and indonesian food. I use to cook it at least once a week.

I'd like to use the chop sticks but DH would scarf down all the food while I fiddled with them. It's OK, though. Sharpened chop sticks make nice knitting needles.
