She got to spend it in a special way.
Her children took her out for a while
To make her laugh, to make her smile.
If she was closer, no matter the weather,
We'd celebrate with her, all together.
But, she does live a wee bit too far
And we can't easily get there by car.
So, all I can do is extend wishes from here,
The kind of wishes that are full of good cheer.
So, Kelli, I'm sending this post your way
