We were really enjoying some nice spring-like days there for a while. The sun was out, the sky was blue, and it felt a lot milder. It was nice to have the temperatures in the 50's and 60's, to be able to be outdoors without having to wear a heavy coat or gloves, and to see others enjoying the weather, too.

That lasted for a few days and then everything changed. Cold, dark, rainy days followed and seemed to refuse to leave. There was even some snow in the mix! It didn't amount to anything, thank goodness, except we were back to wearing heavier clothing and seeking ways to avoid being out in the elements.

Just when we thought that spring weather just might be here to stay, the nastier weather made sure we knew it wasn't the case. So, we still continue to wait for when we can honestly say and feel that spring is really here. As I sit here on what is expected to be another raw, gloomy, rainy day, I must add just a reminder that it is truly on it's way.
