Oh, what a surprise! A UPS man showed up at my door with a box that said "FLOWERS" on it! Of course, I thanked him politely...I hope I didn't close the door too quickly on him... and I hurried into the kitchen with the box to check it out.

Well, guess what was inside the box that was marked "FLOWERS"? Flowers, of course! And, an enclosed gift card... from my brother! Let me tell you what it said on the card...

"The flowers you have received are called Purely Spectacular and you, being "THE Bestest Sister" in the world, deserve them. Thank you for being who you are and for being my sister." It's signed -- Your favorite brother, Eddie.

Okay, yeah, I cried...blubbered, actually. After having my cry and running for the tissues to wipe my eyes and nose dry, I took the flowers out of the box, in which, by the way, also contained a beautiful glass vase. I could see from the description on the "How to Properly Care for Your Flowers" pamphlet that the bouquet consisted of irises and lilies. I did everything I was supposed to... filled the vase with exactly the right amount of water, emptied the packet of "special powder" into the water, snipped the ends of each stem, carefully unwrapped the paper off of the flowers, placed the flowers in the vase and "fluffed" them around until the arrangement looked evenly distributed.

That's all I can tell you about this subject. I can't describe the flowers to you or show you a picture of them. I can not even comment on them or give any sort of clue as to their appearance. Sorry, but the story stops here...for now... because the flowers haven't bloomed yet! They were still tightly closed, but I can tell you that the irises are beginning to open and a slight hint of purple is slowly making an appearance. Once again, I have to exercise my patience while I wait for the flowers to fully open...aaaggghhhh! I'm sure they're going to be beautiful, but I don't want to wait any longer!
