OMFG, sounds about right!!! With the pine trees and all the lovely swirling green pollen I can totally relate!!
Hello Randy, I was happy to see an email from you when I got home today!! I know how good it feels to sleep in your own bed after being gone!! So I know you are enjoying that!! It sure seemed like a quick trip this year for you? What do I know, I am barely blogging these days!! Were you able to take many pictures of the trip this time? If so I hope we get to see some of them soon?? Barb
too funny James!! Let's find the womens brain next to post!!! lolol
Oh what grand memories with such detail!!
And then there are children like me.....a fire starter and a bed wetter at a young age!!! Thankfully at a young age I knew I wanted to become a firefighter!!! I understand what you are all saying about the LACK of skills, some parents of all ages have!! I'm the woman in line or out in public who gently comments or distracts the children/teen/adult and it is amazing how quickly things can de-escalate when someone feels that they are being heard!!! As a parent of two daughters, one who will be 19 on the 7th and the other who is turning 21 in September, we have all learned what works best for our family and I say the ongoing communications are so vital to raising well adjusted responsible USA citizens!!!
I hope you have a grand experience, do you still pick up hitchhikers?! I'm still stuck on what has taken place in Texas, I cannot read and research enough... to take all of the children away from all they have ever known...even the babies still breastfeeding!!!!????? Now that is a crime!!!! Sorry for the segway, anyhow enjoy your solitude and take some pictures to share with all of us here on MyBloggers!!! Be well, Barb
HUH????!!!! ACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK These white boys will never learn to keep their thoughts to themselves!!
POB, Barb
AAAACCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK is all I can say at this point!!!!!
Thanks for the timely info Jondude!!
Of course we care Randy!!! I wish I could list off an impressive list like yours!!! Just celebrating my birthday today has been lots of fun but the party at my house on Saturday will be even better!! It is just amazing how clean my house gets when I have company coming!! Spring cleaning time after all, sounds like you have really taken advantage of the wonderful sunshine!! Glad you voted!!! Be well, Barb
Like they say everyone has to deal with death and taxes at some point in their lives!!
I know Fredo, and he is such a great storyteller too!! I think he had 6 guitars and his piano and of course his harmonica's!! So it was a real treat!! I love his Dad's old protest songs!!
Sounds like Sister Anastasia!!!! Good old catholic school!! Now I'll have to go read Laura's blog!! In SW education we had to learn the current APA style of writing as if it were intended for the courts, as much of SW writing can be used in court cases especially for our institutionalized clients!! I can see I am procrastinating, reading blogs and not doing my paperwork!!
Sometimes, your posts remind me of my years in the "system"!!! My Mom, who actually died in 1984, had saved all correspondence from me and from the courts, probation etc etc. from when I was locked up. When my Dad died in 2002, I was given the cases of family documents and letters and newspaper clippings!! An amazing family history so far in the first 2 boxes!! Anyhow, I somehow managed as well to save most letters etc from my Mom, brother and little sister who knew how important it was for me to receive their letters, even if they had to be read coming and going!! The poem you wrote to that woman impacted her in ways you will never know, but it was important that you wrote it to her, like the poem she had written to you, Mr Loose Robes!! Good work, even better story!!!
Bidwell Park here I come!!! Everything is so green and colorful right now!! How's your garden digging been going? Peace Out, Barb
