The confirmations have been coming in. We are getting in on most of the major festivals we want to do this summer. Generally, I don't have a problem getting in based on work. Just all the good shows, they want the money up front (Unless I get to know them). It's really hard for us to come up with the fee's around February (when they want it). However, it is working out pretty good now. I knew it would take awhile to re-establish in Michigan. I think I'm doing a pretty good job of it now.

We are confirmed for the "Caro show" with the "Tattoo Artist". He has been doing tats, and body piercing 16 years he said. His work is good. Shows however, he just started. he is not set up to do tatoos at the shows yet (just advertises with books and whatever.. they go to his home. local shows for him so far), but he does the piercings and always has customers. Him working, me working should be good for both.

We could do a show this weekend, but Roxann wants to go up north and see her mom. I decided thats "ok" by me. We will lose money from missing a show, but I will be here alone all weekend (no distractions) and can create stock for the big shows coming up. Trust me, we'll need it. I got Clawson and KCQ Country Music fest, and Caro coming in the next 4 weeks. Both 1 day shows. Every single time I did Clawson or KCQ in the past, I made over 150 personalized necklaces for people. Think about that, that's 150+ people that liked your work enough, that they pay for and wear. That's working morning till night. Clawson is better, cause it's 8am till maybe 10pm. KCQ is over at 6pm. But there, I usually make over $1200. I don't know about the Caro show. it's 2 days. I expect it to be good, but not in the league as the others. August will be good too... so I am expecting a great summer.

Been cooking out every single day lately.. lol. When I am not at a show, I spend here around the yard. I got the porch sectioned off. I got Sebastians tools and toys on it. I bought him a swimming pool and put it there. I stocked my fridges with beer, so now I kick back and enjoy summer. I work too people, changing diapers isn't an easy task... lol. neither is cutting all those coins. But pretty much, I like that kind of working.

This is just my life. It's not the "average" life, but is what I do. That's why I tell you about it. Like my title says "Journey into my life"! Take care all, Gary :)

PS RED.. this is actually a REAL job.. believe it or not. Many like you think it isn't. But really it's more work then an actual normal job.
